STETA had a great month last month as we had almost 50 in attendance at Laurel Oak Country Club. The meeting brought together Superintendents and Technicians together once again for a great educational afternoon. Stephen Bernhard CEO of Bernhard and Company was on hand to share with us how to get "Better Grass for Less Money". Stephen challenged those in attendance to go back to their course and run trials to see what works best for them. Some attendees traveled from as far as Boca Raton to attend the meeting. I would like to thank Darden and his wonderful staff for hosting the meeting as it was quite a success.
This month we will not be having a formal meeting. The board elected to support the FTGA conference this month and to attend the 4 available technician seminars that are available. We would like to encourage the membership to attend as well. I would like to wish everyone a great September as we prepare for season over the next few months.
